My Friday posts feature a colour - today's colour is GOLD!
The gold cupola of the Dome Church which houses Napoleon's tomb which is at the centre of the Hotel des Invalides - a military hospital established by Louis XV as a home for French war veterans and disabled soldiers. The dome was re-gilded in 1989 and its glittering presence is yet another unmissable feature of the Paris skyline.
