DIFFICULT TO ACCEPT

The renowned French film director, Claude Chabrol once said,

"You have to accept the fact that sometimes you are the pigeon, and sometimes you are the statue."

Judging by his facial expression, I think Charles VIII finds this truism difficult to accept.
