Photo time for the newly weds!

This young couple was seen braving the mid-winter cold as they posed for a photographer in the Parc des Buttes-Chaumont.

I wonder if they were aware of the history of the site chosen ...

The park was originally a quarry and rubbish dump as well as being the site of the gallows until 1860 when it was transformed into a beautiful park with a lake by Baron Haussmann and the landscape architect Adolphe Alphand.
