Farmers are often innovative - adapting, repairing, improvising. Hence the South African saying: 'n boer maak 'n plan.
This farm shed and its door in particular, was obviously (and rapidly) approaching the end of its useful life. It bore the scars of the farmer's desperate efforts to keep it functional.
