The CDP (City Daily Photo) theme for 1 September is "Public Safety" and I remembered taking this photo of a parade of Paris firemen (pompiers) outside Saint-Eustache in 2011!
I wonder if any of these brave young men were involved in the fire at the Cathedral of Notre Dame last year.
