A typical suburban metro station set in a 16th arrondissement pavement next to a busy street. A station like this is always a welcome sight to a pedestrian looking to take advantage of a faster means of transport than walking.
This station takes its name from the Rue Boissiere (originally named the Rue de la Croix-Boissiere) which was the main entrance to Paris from the west in the early 18th century through the gate known as the Barriere des Reservoirs.
