Parisians (and visitors to the city) will often hear the sound of an accordion being played - on a street corner, at a market or on the Metro. The traditional melodies made popular by iconic artistes from the past, Edith Piaf, Maurice Chevalier, George Brassens, et al, will follow you and remain with you as you stroll through the streets or rush to an appointment.
