L'ACCORDEON



Parisians (and visitors to the city) will often hear the sound of an accordion being played - on a street corner, at a market or on the Metro. The traditional melodies made popular by iconic artistes from the past, Edith Piaf, Maurice Chevalier, George Brassens, et al,  will follow you and remain with you as you stroll through the streets or rush to an appointment.

Last night we were privileged to attend a performance by the virtuoso accordeoniste, Daniel Mille, brought to East London by the Alliance Francaise in collaboration with IFAS, the Institut Francais Afrique du Sud.  Click on the link below to hear a performance by Daniel Mille ...
