The fourth eagle to feature in this series of blogposts that I have chosen to call "Where Eagles Dare", is the magnificent MARTIAL EAGLE. Unfortunately killed by farmers believing that it preys on their lambs, it is now found mainly in National Parks. The Martial Eagle is now a protected species and can really be helpful in reducing the dassie population which has grown to plague proportions in the absence of predators.
