Despite it still being winter in the Dordogne in late December, colourful displays of pansies add colour to an otherwise drab environment - makes one think, doesn't it?
The word pansy is derived from the French verb, penser - to think and it is alleged that this is due to the pansy flower resembling the face of someone deep in thought!
I wonder if this was the bath of a baby Bourbon ...
