DRY
The dry Karoo - desolate and seemingly inhospitable. The word, karoo is believed to be derived from the Khoekhoen words, garo and karusa which mean 'dry' and 'desert'. Up close it certainly looks no better!
Living in the desert, I'm very used to this type of scenery. Those hills are pretty.
