Shortly after sunrise each morning our bird bath is visited by birds dropping in for a quick sip and a an equally quick bath of the "splash and go" variety. This Cape White-eye was caught in the act before giving way to the Bul-buls, Cape canaries, sparrows and sunbirds.
The process is repeated in the late afternoon - my task is to ensure the bath is refilled before they return!
