The Avenue des Champs-Elysees is the most famous thoroughfare in Paris stretching from the Arc de Triomphe down to Le Pont Alexandre and lends its name to the 8th arrondissement - known for its restaurants, upmarket department stores and magnificent buildings. The avenue is also the venue for major events such as the Bastille Day parade and the final sprint stage of the Tour de France!
