My only experience of the 14th arrondissement is the Gare TGV where I have gone to embark on trips to Tours and Bordeaux. Moving walkways, escalators, queues, a plethora of platforms and continuous unintelligible train announcements ... general confusion, but I have always managed to get to the right platform on time!
