LES FÉLINS … #2 THE TABBY OF THE ABBEY

Cadouin Abbey - a Cistercian monastery in the Perigord dates back to the early 12th century.

Is it coincidence or Darwinian natural selection that has resulted in the abbey cats being of a similar colour to the weathered and lichen covered (900 year old) limestone?

I was curious, but the cat was not forthcoming with an answer!
