This photograph by Edouard Boubat (1923 - 1999) prompted me to dedicate this week to the French felines I have encountered while travelling in France. Boubat was a renowned French photojournalist and art photographer in the post-war period. This photo was entitled "Cats on a Paris roof".
This friendly young fellow was photographed in the Loir area - where he was eager to welcome me to his domain! What a fine set of whiskers!
