When driving in France, it pays to be vigilant and to expect the unexpected, such as a municipal employee watering the flower boxes attached to the street lamp poles. Driving his tractor at a snail's pace he moved from pole to pole, oblivious of the queue of vehicles forming behind his water tender. I guess if your town is set on winning a Ville Fleuri accolade, watering the flowers is a priority!
