This week I will be featuring the town of Sarlat-la-Caneda in the Perigord. It is reputed to have the highest concentration of medieval, Renaisance and 17th century facades of any town in France! [Eyewitness Travel - DK Books].
As usual on a Monday, I have posted a monochrome photo which, although taken recently, captures the timelessness of the scene - it transports us back in time to ... the early 20th century?
