The joys of visiting France in July ... long days, wonderful weather, sunshine and blue skies, BUT queues everywhere - judged not by their length, but the time it takes to get to the entrance. This was an hour plus queue at the Palace of Versailles in July 2010. Nevertheless, it was worth it!
