L'EGLISE SAINT-LAURENT

The 12th century Church of Saint-Laurent is on the hill in the centre of the village of Les Arques in the Lot. Its solid Romanesque design has ensured its longevity.

The statue of a banjo player singing out lustily is by the Russian born artist, Ossip Zadkine who sought refuge in the village during the Second World War.
