"Fermeture Annuelle" - Annual Closure.
The sign in this Cadouin restaurant window announces that its owners have "shut up shop" and gone on holiday. A sign which is met with a shrug of the shoulders by the understanding French, but with frustration by tourists!
I am about to set off on a short break, so I am posting a "fermeture annuelle" notice! I hope my blog-followers will be understanding ... [Did you shrug your shoulders?]
