For a few hours last evening we were transported to France by the culinary magic of local chef, author and francophile, Oomesh Nana as he prepared (and taught us how to do it): a bouillabaisse with accompanying rouille; authentic baguettes, a hollandaise sauce, boeuf bouguignonne and a delightful tarte tatin.
Naturally, this was all enjoyed with a selection of red wines - mostly South African, but I did notice some imported Bordeaux!
