CHRISTMAS EVE - PARIS, 2013

24 December 2013
The queue of people waiting in the rain to attend the Christmas Eve service snaked back and forth across the square.  Would there be place for us?  The Cathedral can accommodate
6 000 worshippers and I estimated there were more than 5 000 ahead of us ...

Fortunately we found seats near the back (more than 100 metres from the altar).  Such a memorable service - a congregation of thousands and not a mask in sight!  Will we ever return to the "old ways"?
