CHAMPS ELYSEES - CHRISTMAS 2013

2013 - a different time with fewer concerns ...

The traditional Christmas market in the Champs Elysees has been suspended for the past three years due to ongoing disputes between the main vendor and the Parisian authorities.  In recent years the market has moved to another venue near the Jardin des Tuileries, but with the restrictions necessitated by the coronavirus pandemic, it is unlikely that the usual attendance of 15 million people per year will be reached in 2020.

OJ - remembering that keeping warm in the icy weather was the main concern in 2013!
