MONOCHROME MONDAY #126: LES MENDIANTS DE PARIS ET LES ANIMAUX

A disconsolate dog and a dozing duck - key members of this Parisian beggar's entourage trying to relieve passing tourists of their small change.  Others along the quai had rabbits, kittens, puppies ... and my favourite: a juggler with goldfish in a bowl balanced on his head while he danced to reggae music!

Begging in the pre-Covid era's busy tourist-filled Paris streets was a highly competitive activity where being novel and unique was essential.
