BONE CRUSHER

The Whitenecked Raven has one of the most formidable beaks I have seen.  It is described as a scavenger feeding on whatever it can find which includes carrion.  This one was photographed on the cliffs overlooking the sea where shellfish could have been part of its diet.  In that case a beak capable of crushing shells and bones would have been very useful!
