CAPE WHITE-EYE VARIATIONS

The Cape White-eye occurs in a number of colour forms - in the southern and western Cape, one finds the grey-fronted form, and in the eastern Cape, the White-eye with green underparts is more common.  Living more or less between these regions results in one finding both sub-species in mixed flocks - happily co-existing.

There are so many lessons to be learnt from nature!
