ALBI TO THE DORDOGNE - VILLEFRANCHE DE ROUERGUE

We heard last night that our South African "lock-down" would be extended by two weeks to limit the spread of the coronavirus.  This announcement by our President was expected and welcomed by many as the measures seem to be working, so we'll continue to stay at home and stay safe!

I've decided to post pictures showing where I was on this day at some time in the past - Good Friday, 2017 saw us on the road from Albi to the Dordogne where we stopped for a short time in the medieval bastide town of Villefranche de Rouergue in the Aveyron region. The magnificent church, Notre Dame was built from 1260 to 1581!
