ON SAFARI #3 ... JAYWALKING


How do you teach a BUFFALO to use a ZEBRA crossing?  I suspect his reluctance to use the pedestrian crossing is his way of objecting to the non-consultative process that resulted in the use of the word "zebra" without "buffalo" even being considered! On the other hand, no one is going to argue with a buffalo crossing the road anywhere!

In Africa, we stop for buffaloes ... in New Zealand, they stop for ducks!  See the LINK below.

  2. Certainly - that's why pedestrians would be safer if we had "Buffalo Crossings" instead of meek and mild zebra crossings.
