#2: THE VISION OF KING LOUIS XIV


The spectacular gardens of the Palace of Versailles were envisioned by Louis XIV presumably while looking from a window of what had been his father's hunting lodge.

Andre Le Notre, the renowned gardener and landscaper was able to convert the King's dreams into the splendid reality we see today.
