KNYSNA TURACO HIGHLIGHTED

One way of highlighting the beautiful plumage of the Knysna Turaco (tauraco corythaix) is to reduce the background to shades of grey.  The bright red of the turaco's wings is often glimpsed in the dense Knysna forests as it glides from tree to tree or flies across the motorway. I photographed this shy, but always welcome visitor to my garden.
