LES VUES D'OISEAU DE CADOUIN

A bird's eye view of the tiny medieval town of Cadouin. The town has grown around the 12th century abbey of Notre-Dame de la Nativite which was established in 1115. The abbey's battle-scarred walls are proof that it was used as a refuge during the Wars of Religion. The abbey cloisters now serve as a popular youth hostel.
