My Wednesday posts usually feature water - "Wet Wednesdays"
However after recently travelling through the Western and Eastern Cape regions and seeing the devastation caused by the lack of rain, I decided that this Wednesday, I would post a waterless Wednesday photo to draw attention to the crisis.
This old pump outside the Church of St Nicholas in Tremolat in the Dordogne has probably not produced water for decades - not because there is no water, but because other more reliable and convenient supplies are available.
