Walls have featured prominently in the news lately and as a consequence, their significance.
Walls, whether real or virtual, are constructed to keep in or keep out - to contain or detain, to protect or shelter.
The destruction of walls results in freedom of movement, exposure to others, their challenges and their ideas.
If walls remain intact, one has to have the ability to see and go through them, although for some they may remain barriers.
