This spectacular waterfall where the Cata River cascades over a dolerite ridge may be seen in the forests at the foot of the Amatola mountain range.
The sheer walls of rock on either side of the waterfall are about 20 metres tall.
The Cata River is a tributary of the Keiskamma River.
