ARCHITECTURAL DETAIL

 In the area surrounding the Parc Monceau (17e arrondissement) one finds a number of exquisite late 18th century homes built during the Second Empire period.  

This Neo-Baroque homestead is an excellent example.

The detail of the ornate decoration above the windows and balcony doors is quite astounding.  (See below)
