This aged, weathered stone griffon on the roof of the Chateau de Coutanvaux may have terrified potential attackers in the past, but has now, malheuresement, lost its ferocious aspect!
This chateau in the Loir Valley near Bresse-sur-Braye was built in the 14th century.
