THE CANAL AT LALINDE

This old disused canal from Mouzac to the outskirts of Bergerac was constructed as a detour around the shallow rapids of the Dordogne at Badefols and further downstream. The tow path beneath the plane trees is now the only site of activity along the canal - walking, jogging or cycling!

Speaking of cycling ... see the poster above and diarise 31 July!
