FOUNTAIN - RUE MOUFFETARD

"Water" is my theme for Wednesday blogposts and today we visit the fountain at the lower end of the Rue Mouffetard.

I imagine that very few visitors to the small shops, market stalls and restaurants in this narrow street realise that they are walking in what was once part of the main road linking Rome and Lutetia (Paris).
