A VISIT TO THE LOUVRE

No trip to Paris would be complete without a visit to the Louvre. It is one of the biggest museums in the world with more than 35 000 objects on display in an area of 60 600 square metres. If one spent ten seconds looking at each object on display, it would take more than 96 hours!

It is the most visited museum in the world. 9,72 million visits were recorded in 2012 and it has been estimated that 12 million could visit the museum in 2025, that is approximately 33 000 per day!
