"You say you want a revolution
Well, you know we all want to change the world ..."
The 1968 Beatles hit written by John Lennon came to mind when I read that the City Daily Photo theme for 1 May 2015 would be, "Revolution".
This water wheel on the Loir reminds us of a different, but essential revolution - the need for us to use sustainable, "green" energy instead of burning fossil fuels or using nuclear energy - that is the way we can all change the world!
For those of a certain age who remember listening to the Beatles in 1968, click the link below for "a trip down memory lane". Turn the volume to max. and enjoy!

Ah, the Beatles! Your water wheel photo is beautiful and another way to add to your theme of REVOLUTIONS!
ReplyDeleteAn excellent choice for this theme day.
ReplyDeleteI certainly do remember listening to Revolutuin, like a thousand times :) Excellent choice for the theme AD.
ReplyDeleteI admire the thinking of the people so long ago who came up with the idea of the water wheel to harness the power of falling water. I admire your shot of such an attractive combination of wood and metal.
ReplyDeleteSuper shot!!
