ACCIPTER MINULLUS - LITTLE SPARROWHAWK

The Little Sparrowhawk, the smallest member of the Accipitridae family, is a regular visitor in our garden.  This photograph was taken in the early afternoon while the hawk was hunting for its supper - shortly after the photo was taken it swooped down and plucked a hapless gecko from the paving around the pool.
