LES FLÂNEURS À PARIS - 4

When one walks along the Rue de Rivoli one can see the Colonne de Juillet on the Place de la Bastille in the distance.  This certainly illustrates what Baron Haussmann set out to achieve with his grand plan for the streets of Paris.
