LES ÉGLISES - ST SÉVERIN

The elaborate portico above the entrance to St-Severin shows the Virgin Mary seemingly blessing those who enter the church.  It is named after a 6th Century hermit and was completed in the early 16th Century.  It is considered to be one of the most beautiful churches in Paris and may be found in the 5th arrondissement.
