LE MARCHE COUVERT A SARLAT

The ancient church of Sainte Marie in the Place de la Liberte in Sarlat has been converted into an enclosed market to protect the customers, the stall holders and their valuable produce (truffles!) from the weather!

Two massive steel doors are opened on market days allowing access to this market with its fascinating array of local produce.
