HEAD SHOTS

Four early morning visitors to the bird bath - dropping in for a quick sip and splash - all in the space of about five minutes.  From the top right, clockwise: a Whitethroated Canary, a Blackeyed Bulbul, a Yelloweyed Canary and a Forest Weaver.

Watching birds at breakfast time is so much more uplifting and entertaining than tuning in to CNN, SkyNews, BBC or News24 to be updated on Covid stats, the economy or the US elections.

OJ recommending a tried and tested breakfast routine.
