The Knysna Turaco (a.k.a. Livingstone's Loerie) is a fairly common visitor to our garden. The word "demure" comes to mind when trying to describe this magnificently coloured, shy bird. However, the only thing not demure about the Knysna Turaco is its loud, rasping call.
