As a precaution aimed at reducing the spread of the coronavirus, COVID-19, people throughout the world are encouraged to go into a state of "lock down" - staying at home, working from home and reducing contact with their fellow citizens. Staying behind doors like these photographed in France is recommended and in some countries, enforced. This is not a new strategy - I am sure that for these ancient doors, it will not be their first occasion to act as barriers against infection and disease and thus help keep the inhabitants safe!
