TREES #2: ADVICE FROM MONET


Monet said that artists should forget what objects are before them - a tree, a field, the colours of the sky.  They should just paint it as it looks to them - the exact colour and shape and their own impression of the scene before them.

I could start with this Dordogne winter sunset ...
