I am reading Christy Letteri's novel, The Beekeeper of Aleppo, at the moment and Nuri's reminiscing of his work with bees in Syria has made me more conscious of the bee activity in our garden.
I photographed this early morning visitor to the Coral Tree (Erythrina) flowers and decided to share the photo while at the same time recommending her book!
