The Bastille Market is one of the biggest and busiest in Paris ... an ideal spot to watch the world go by as shoppers and curious tourists move between the crowded stalls. These photos were taken on a Sunday morning when canvassers for political parties were added to the mix - offering pamphlets and recommendations on who you should vote for in the forthcoming elections. My response: "Malheuresement monsieur, je suis Sud-Africain" left them a little perplexed!
